Betty White, beloved icon of all things good and true, is the seventh in my new series "Everyday Saints".
This piece is done on a 12x12 cloth then mounted on a 12x12 frame for hanging. A mix of sequins and embroidery.
 
Betty White made a personal impression on my life as she did so many others. Her well rounded, straight forward, comedic persona was something to look up to. She coupled her amazing, honest, true self charisma with advocacy for animal rights, LGBTQ support, and opposing racial injustice (among other things). If I had to sum up how I felt about Betty White it would go a little something like this: She was real, and that inspired others to be real as well. Happy 100th, goddess!
